John A. Davis III, PhD, LMHC, LPC, MCAP, Director of Operations of Chemical Dependency Counseling, is an experienced clinician with a passion for working in behavioral health and public safety. Skilled in addiction/compulsivity, John provides direct care to adult and adolescents challenged with problematic sexual behaviors and other clinical disorders and provides management and oversight to a multi-office outpatient behavioral healthcare forensic practice in North Florida. Captain John Davis has recently retired with more than 20 years in the fire service. John served as the Behavioral Healthcare Professional and Crisis Intervention Officer for Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department Peer Support. Additionally, John has deployed nationally and internationally as a member of a Federal Disaster Medical Assistance Team for the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. A clinical sexologist, psychotherapist, master addiction professional, crisis interventionist, firefighter, paramedic, and a U.S. Army veteran. John enjoys helping others.
